These wheels are really good looking. We have a set on Shiela the Shop Car.
The 17x9 wheels will work on a 1970-1981 Firebird with stock suspension.
Typical tires sizes used are 255/50/17, 255/45/17, and 255/40/17. The 50, 45,40 sidewall size will make a difference on if you have rubbing issues.
