Micah’s Ride

This is my all-original 1980 Fiero Bronze Turbo Trans-Am HenrieTTA (named after the original owner)... she may not be fast but she sure is purdy! She now has 63k miles after purchasing it 3 years ago with 58k documented original miles. This car was originally ordered in Grand Rapids Michigan by a couple in Jackson Michigan as a fun retirement car... it was used to travel to warmer climates during our Michigan winters which is why it has never seen road salt. It was WELL on its way to being a high mileage car but the husband was diagnosed with cancer in late 1984... he passed in early 1985. His wife, Henrietta, couldn't drive nor sell the car after that so it was put in storage until 2018. At that time it went to a family member (who never got it on the road) and then to a good friend of mine a few years later. Him and I worked on it up until he lost interest in the project and then sold it to me. It took me 2 years (I work full time for General Motors so only get so much free time) to get it running while keeping it all original... I completely rebuilt the drivetrain... you guys at Second Gen Graveyard have helped me achieve that! It's all part numbers matching... I still have the original snowflake rims, that it was ordered with, but it wears 17" YearOnes until I get those professionally refinished.
