Open your boxes!

Please, please, please..........

Open your boxes when you receive them and verify that you received the parts you ordered, and that they are all accounted for in good condition.

I know a lot of my customers order parts before they are needed. But it is imperative that you open the boxes and inspect the parts before storing them away for later.

I have had several customers reach out recently with issues on parts they ordered a year ago and just got around to opening the boxes. After that much time it is very difficult to get vendors to take any action on missing or damaged parts. And of course it is too late to make an insurance claim with the shipper.

All my invoices clearly state "All sales are final after thirty days. Please be sure to inspect your item(s) upon delivery."

I have always made every effort to correct any issue on shipped parts, even when the customer has brought it to my attention a year after delivery. But it really is up to the customer to make that initial inspection in a timely manner.

Thanks, John
