Classic car insurance

Prices are jumping on classic cars.   If you have not reevaluated the value of your car(s) and checked in with your insurance carrier, you may find yourself unhappy should something happen to your ride.

A few things to ask while you are talking to your provider.

What coverage do you have?  Stated value, agreed upon value, or up to an adjuster to determine?    Don’t be surprised after an incident, find out now.  Change to agreed upon value so you know exactly what the check will be for if you have a loss.

What happens to my car in the event of a loss?  Do you have the option to buy it back.  Some carriers will let you and others won’t.  Find out so you’re not surprised.

What are my limitations/requirements?   Are you limited in who can drive it, annual mileage caps, pleasure vs driving to work, destinations, where it’s stored etc.   Find out so you’re not surprised by a claim denial for operating outside of your limitations.

I would hate for your prized possession to end up in my Autopsy Bay without you being properly compensated by your carrier 😁

We have Grundy Classic Car  Insurance for all our vehicles except the two daily driver trucks.
